What We Fabricate

Our fabrication workshop produces pressure-rated pipe spools, structural assemblies, and specialised fittings from carbon, stainless, duplex and exotic alloys — with full NDT, hydrostatic testing and as-built documentation.

Pipe Spool Fabrication

Prefabricated pipe spools to isometric drawings. All joints fit-up, root run and cap run by ASME IX qualified welders. Full dimensional check and marking.

  • Carbon steel, SS304/316, Duplex 2205
  • ½" NB to 48" NB
  • Class 150 to 1500#

Coded Welding Processes

GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), SMAW (Stick) and FCAW processes. All welders coded to ASME IX and AWS D1.1. WPSs and PQRs available for customer review.

  • GTAW root with SMAW or FCAW fill
  • P1 through P11 materials
  • Preheat and PWHT as required

Radiographic (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT) and Visual (VT) inspection. ASNT Level II technicians.

Hydrostatic Pressure Testing

Shop hydrostatic testing to 1.5× design pressure per ASME B31.3 and B31.4. Calibrated gauges, test records and pneumatic testing where hydro is not practical.

Structural Steel Fabrication

Pipe supports, skid bases, handrails, access platforms and structural frames. AWS D1.1 certified welding with hot-dip galvanising or paint finish.

Flange Fitting & Assembly

Flange to pipe fit-up, alignment, weld-neck and slip-on attachment, and flange facing machining. Isometric-accurate assembly with bolthole alignment.

📋 Fabrication Process

Spool Fabrication — Step by Step

01

Issue Isometrics

Customer provides piping isometrics and line specifications. We review for constructability, issue material takeoff and confirm lead time.

Material Procurement

Pipe, fittings and flanges procured with full MTRs and heat traceability. Customer-supplied material accepted. Incoming inspection completed.

03

Fit-Up & Weld

Spools set up on rollers, fit-up checked, tacked and welded by coded welders to qualified WPS. Pre- and post-heat controlled where required.

NDT, Test & Deliver

NDT completed, hydrostatic test witnessed, paint or galvanise applied, spool marked with line number and delivered with data dossier.
